- Memory Activities = Each grade has an optional memory activity extension. These memory activities are intentionally chosen because they are pillars in many worship settings. By exposing children to these pillars during age-segregated class settings, children will be better equipped to engage meaningfully during worship services. Use these lessons as a part of your weekly lesson plan. Use these as a separate learning unit. Use these as an intergenerational celebration or festival special event for your church community!

Unit 2 - Promises
A promise tells us what we can count on. Throughout Scripture, God makes promises to people who are waiting, wondering, afraid, or unsure what will happen next—and God proves faithful again and again. In this unit, children will explore some of God’s promises and discover what those promises reveal about who God is. They will be invited to trust that God is with them, God loves them, and God is always working toward what is good—even when they cannot yet see how the story will unfold.
